It has been a long while.

Among the Gum Trees

Please give a warm welcome to David Michael, a special visitor to sit and chat with us 'among the gum trees'.

I go by “David Michael.” If you understand who those figures are in the Bible, you have an idea of who I am. A Worshipping Warrior King.

A fifth-generation native Texan (yeehaw), married 26 years to Ellen, with two daughters in their 20s, Victoria & Rachel. Grew up in a nice, lower middle class Christian family, who attended church frequently & regularly. Being the middle son of three, I was a creative strategist early in life, which didn’t really fit well in a strict, disciplinarian, religious environment.

Much of my out-of-the-box thinking was disciplined away early in life. The curious adventurer in me lived in my inner world and came alive exploring nature and books. Being smart and a good rule follower, I excelled in school but started struggling in college. My twenties were a blur as I began deconstructing what I had been taught about God & life and started my healing journey. Got married, had kids and a stable job as a CPA. God really arrested me in my forties, which started a whole new way of understanding my design and I left my firm to work for myself. That was a scary but courageous move. God totally blessed me. I was able to shift my work more towards the consulting side of business, being a Trusted Advisor to folks. It also allowed me freedom and time to pursue more personal healing and growth, as well as minister to many others. This was a conscious decision to pursue spiritual and personal growth over business “success”.

Eventually realized I have what some see as unusual spiritual experiences and gifts. My normal is dreams, visions, knowing things and supernatural experiences, a mystic Seer if you will. I can’t always explain it but it’s my life. A year ago I sold my CPA practice and began what I thought would be an easy transition to my next chapter. It hasn’t gone anything close to what I anticipated. God knew I needed a year or so of allowing my spirit to unwind from the years of living in other people’s boxes. So here I am, 57 and starting, what I believe will be the most eventful & impactful period of my life.

I have been around inner healing & counseling since the 1980’s and have always been willing to be the guinea pig in trying new things before I share with others. Several years back, started hearing references about Arthur Burk in some of my circles.

Around 2012-13 I researched SLG on the internet, liked what I found, then dove into the Redemptive Gift teachings. That study provoked as many questions as answers, and led to other teachings. I contacted the office a few times, whereupon Arthur was kind enough to answer questions. Early 2014 during Arthur’s trip to Dallas, we had dinner together which precipitated a healing crises, discovery of AHS and new paradigms. Have pretty much been actively involved since. I have always done “unusual” so SLG fit me well.   DO YOU KNOW YOUR REDEMPTIVE GIFT AND IF SO CAN YOU GIVE US A GLIMPSE OF HOW THAT PLAYS OUT ON ANY GIVEN DAY?

Mercy. Took me a while to land here, as I had to get some junk out of the way first. Giver surfaced first, which was more a reflection of my upbringing. Then a discussion between prophet & mercy. A few friends still think I’m prophet, but that has more to do with my other giftings I believe. I’m a worshipper at heart and connect with God easily. I see Him everywhere. I see His design in so many of the people I meet on any given day. It’s natural for me to encourage & exhort whoever it is, whether a long time friend or the person pumping gas next to me. Or I could get an email or phone call from someone who is struggling or needs a breakthrough. Happy to oblige.

I spend a lot of time alone and each day is different. I have to be filled up spiritually and emotionally in order to successfully deal with the unique things I run across each day. (Though it took me a while to learn that.)

That’s like going to the symphony and being asked which instrument you like the best. Some days it’s the woodwinds, others the brass, yet the strings always seem to shine and at times there is nothing better than a good beat on the kettle drums. So my answer today would be Doing Deliverance on the Brain. I find this to be a capstone teaching of sorts. Being an overachiever I had many critters and anomalies in my system to practice on. When doing brain work for others I get to incorporate spirit work, redemptive gifts, dealing with different entity types, in addition to healing memories, trauma, portals, time issues and so on. It helps to have an understanding of all these issues. Every situation is distinct & different.

So both for my personal freedom and for using with others, this teaching pushed me to launch out and find new wings. I have always encountered something I had no idea how to handle, so using the principles I learned here in conjunction with other niche teachings has delivered great results.

So much to say here. A big question for most Christians is how do I hear God? It used to be mine. Now it’s more like, how do you not hear or see Him? He is the Creator. He is everywhere. He is a good Father. Doesn’t a good Father want to talk to His kids? Since we are all uniquely designed, we each have a unique language(s) God uses to communicate with us. Certainly through the Bible. But also creation and ways we probably still don’t understand. What is that for you? He talked to David, Daniel, Phillip, Paul and John differently. So find your God language. That happened for me once I realized the visual images I was seeing was one way He speaks to me (there are others).

We have spiritual senses that correspond to our physical senses, so maybe its taste or smell or feeling for you. One day I became aware that I see and sense angels. Jesus said he only did what he saw the Father doing. For me, becoming aware of angels is one way I know the Father is working. Much of the church is scared of angels and have relegated them to New Agers, but it was normal for folks in the Bible to interact with them. I believe that’s still true today as long as the interaction does not conflict with scripture. My dream life is also key here. Usually when I am going to minister somewhere I will have a related dream that gives me a key. I still don’t understand them all, but have spent significant time working on dream interpretation. You have something wonderful in your life God is using to communicate with you. Find out what that is and step into it.   WHAT IS YOUR KEY OF MUSIC FOR INTIMACY WITH GOD? HOW DO YOU READILY CONNECT?

Music. Nature. Animals. Water. Movement. Worship. Meditation. It’s easy to worship the Creator when you see Him everywhere. Went to visit my brother a few months back and it made me realize how much time each day I actually spend connecting with God. My prayer life has become a constant dialog. It truly is one of the ways I have survived.

Since I am very visual, things with visual input like movies. I also am a prolific dreamer; most nights I dream. I get up in the morning and dialog with God about my dreams. A significant part of the Bible is actually dreams and visions, and I believe God still talks to us today in those ways. Images pop into my head all the time and many of them I realize, God is speaking to me.

What I haven’t shared is the warfare & wounding I have experienced in my life. It has been brutal, intense, and persistent. I have reclaimed my family line for the King. That has come at a cost, as has pursuing my birthright. The only way I have been successful is through intimacy with God.

Sapphire Connection Study Group

Welcome to the Office of Personhood Study Group.

This is the third in our series of teachings and we are really excited about exploring this one together.

In this next CD we will be covering the Office of Sonship.

What is the Office of Sonship and how does it differ from the Office of Personhood?

When a father enjoys his sons/daughters enjoying their joy. When I as a parent recognize a piece of me in you, saying, ‘That’s my boy/girl! They got that from their daddy. They are a chip off the old block!’

That is the connection between the office of personhood and the office of sonship. Unlike the office of personhood, you cannot put yourself in the office of sonship. That is the foundational profound difference. It is the actual experience of someone enjoying you as you are enjoying your joy.

There are questions to explore and comments to be made.

Feel free to join in on the conversation. Even if you have not listened to this teaching, you can whet your appetite and still be a part of the discussion.

Beyond the Horizon

There is great news for Australia! We are soon to be carrying all of Megan's teachings from Beyond the Horizon, including CD's and her latest book. This will save you mega bucks when it comes to shipping. I always prefer paper over e-books, perhaps you do as well.

I have personally read and reread, The Power of your Story and cannot recommend it more highly. I recognized myself in so many of the pages and it is always a relief when you know you are not going on this journey alone. The tools are a plenty and have already had a deep impact in my life.

Check our website, we are hoping for products to arrive next week.

Beyond the Horizon

The Window of Reconciliation

There are four seasons of reconciliation:

•March 10th to 30th is for Reconciliation with Community

•June 10th to 30th is for Reconciliation with Land

•September 10th to 30th is for Reconciliation with God

•December 10th to 30th is for Reconciliation with Our Destiny

We are now in the window of reconciliation with community as our focus.

The word carries some negative overtones in our culture. In other words, we assume a breach in relationship whenever we hear that reconciliation is needed. I am of the opinion that these four windows are not necessarily about soul searching and finding the last few unforgiven issues to be dealt with. I believe the windows carry great grace for moving into higher positive numbers.

As we look at the issue of community in the next 20 days, we will be especially alert for those areas where community is working well so we can celebrate the beauty of different forms and flavors of people in right alignment with each other.

God is an extraordinary Scrabble player. Watching Him take a really odd personality and place them in a community where they can absolutely shine is cause for worship — but we have to see it first, which means our whole team will be actively looking for those kinds of stories.

Scripture is full of admonitions to remember. As with most Hebrew words, there are many shades of meaning. One of them is to reminisce verbally. The picture is of a group of people talking through a favorite memory and savoring it again, articulating the special parts of the story.

We are of the opinion that this exercise is commanded not simply because God is concerned about our data retrieval skills but because something happens in our souls and in the spiritual realm when we lean into the sweet spots of our life’s story.

So for the next 20 days, our team is going to take turns around the lunch table sharing vignettes never before celebrated with that group. We will savor collectively the beauty of God’s gift of vibrant community so that all of us can come into agreement with the greatness of His generosity towards us in terms of good community.

One of the things I feel God said to me about this window is that...
