"Living Effectively" April 2, 2016 Augsburg/Germany
Our core passion is to bridge the gap between abstract theology and real life challenges. This day-long event is for you to ask Arthur Burk the how-to questions you need answered.
"What is the Kingdom of God?" April 9, 2016 Salzburg, Austria
For most, the Kingdom of God is a religious cliché. The church is a familiar concept, but the Kingdom is vague. This seminar will turn the Kingdom into a living concept for you in daily life.
From Shame to Dignity
Shame is one of the most viral tools the devil uses against us. It is nearly impossible for shame to remain a solitary problem. It empowers a staggering number of subsidiary problems, warping our spirit, soul, body, relationships on earth and capacity to earn a living.
Tragically, many therapists and many people who suffer from shame attempt to use honor as the tool to heal. Honor simply does not impact shame. It is like putting a shirt on over your chicken pox. It doesn’t change the reality of your discomfort under the shirt.
Dignity is the primary tool for healing shame at all levels.
This album shows you a number of methods for using dignity as a pathway out of the swamp of shame. It is designed for home use, although a therapist could easily use it in the office as well.
Thank you for your patience!
Discernment is what we call the ability of our spirit to sense things that are beyond our soul’s capacity to know. God has designed us to know the world primarily through our spirit, but the enlightenment taught us to disregard our spirit and trust our soul.
Most people had significant spiritual discernment as a child but it was shut down. While it has suffered from benign neglect, it is not gone. Once you have identified which of the five kinds of discernment is natural for you, you can recover that skill.
This album is designed to help you determine which kind of discernment God gave you, as well as to identify the dynamics in your current lifestyle that will help you unpack the treasure you have.
Among the Gum Trees
Please give a warm welcome to Ashley, a special visitor to sit and chat with us 'among the gum trees'.
HEY ASHLEY, CAN YOU TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?
Hi, my name is Ashley Elizabeth Blair Tetzlaff. I am 25 years old. I have been married for 3.5 years exactly (as of November 12, 2015) to my wonderful husband, Mark Richard Tetzlaff. Have two daughters: Abigail Joy (2 yrs 7 mo) and Joanna Elizabeth (9 mo).
HOW DID YOU INITIALLY CONNECT WITH SLG?
I was first introduced to SLG and Arthur Burk through his teachings on the Redemptive gifts, which my parents purchased back in 2000 or so. So, tracking with y'all for about 15 years, give or take a year. Grew up listening to the series on redemptive gifts of individuals and cities. Right before I was married, I introduced my husband to the set, and after our marriage he took off and bought and listened to just about everything Arthur put out. So, been tracking pretty closely with SLG for the past 3 years :)
DO YOU KNOW YOU’RE REDEMPTIVE GIFT AND IF SO CAN YOU GIVE US A GLIMPSE OF HOW THAT PLAYS OUT ON ANY GIVEN DAY?
Though my mom originally pegged me as a Servant, I figured out in my late teens that I am a Mercy. I empathize deeply with people. Love everyone. Reach out and "feel" with people. Mostly hear God through feelings, instead of thoughts/words. Since I am divided with DID, I deal with confusion on what is really me and what is woundedness acting out, but I try to show God's heart to others as much as possible.
WHAT TEACHING HAS MADE THE MOST IMPACT IN YOUR LIFE AND HOW?
I would like to say "Whatever one I am listening to currently"! because that is so true.
We moved into a very very defiled house a week after our wedding and I struggled with the methods of casting out demons and anointing with oil and praying and declaring and etc etc etc not working. We got the set on Alien Human Spirits. And voila! Kicked several hundred AHSs out and on to eternity and have kept having to do so as more drop in periodically. Very helpful!
I was struggling with healing from sexual molestation as a kid (4-9 yrs old), and the set on DID was a big eye-opener. Discovered I had a couple dozen parts; and though that was very frightening for me, it brought me one step closer to fullness of healing.
Also have dealt a lot with suicidal thoughts since I was a kid (generational and molestation), the set on Fighting Futility brought me through the darkest time of my life, right after my 2nd daughter was born and I had severe Post Partum Depression and suicidal urges. I had that set playing morning, noon, and night. And sometimes I was so down, all I could do was sit and listen as my girls slept or played around me.
Each set I listen to impacts me deeply and at just the right time. Right now, my husband and I are listening to the set Arthur recorded in Africa on the three strongholds and seven curses. Trying to learn how to walk in dominion with those issues.
My Journey to Israel by Ruth AllisonIn October/November of 2015, I went to Israel with a Bridges For Peace Tour. BFP has a ministry of reconciliation and hope between Jews and Christians, and to give Christians worldwide the opportunity to express our Biblical responsibility before God to support Israel - the land and people who gave us the Bible.
Our days started with prayer, and at various times we had a devotional message at pivotal sites. (Before I left, a friend from my Church, had a picture of angels over our bus, so we travelled without fear and in safety, Thanks, God!)
On the first day, we visited Independence Hall, the former home of Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, where he proclaimed the State of Israel on 14 May 1948. We saw a video of the actually ceremony. I was in awe of how God orchestrated the event. Both Britain and the UN had agreed that Israel should have its own land. Those writing the Declaration did soon 14th, and had to finish before Shabbat ( Sabbath) began at dusk. WE sat in the room where this had happened - it was very moving, and I gave thanks to God. Isaiah prophesied 66:8,'Who has ever seen anything strange as this? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? 'Well, this was fulfilled on 14.5.1948! How amazing our God is!
The next day, Arabs attacked to destroy the new State. Israel wasn't prepared for war. It was a miracle that they won, with God's help also in the 2 subsequent wars.
Later we visited Yad Vashem - the Holocaust Museum. It was beautifully curated, just like all the places we visited.
