Blessing from Psalm 123

by Justin

you are enthroned in heaven

you are enthroned in heaven

Psalm 123:1-2

"O God enthroned in heaven, I lift my eyes to you. We look to Jehovah our God for his mercy and kindness just as a servant keeps his eyes upon his master or a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal."

I encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on our Lord today. To see his mercy and kindness in your life. See the ways he wants communicate, teach, and bless you.

It says in the word "seek and you will find". So i encourage you to seek, to be proactive and accountable with your time. The time you invest in your relationship will reflect in your knowledge and growth. So from the minute you wake up, invite God into your day and don't take your eyes off him.

We don't want to miss any signals from God.

I bless you with eyes to see and ears to hear. To keep your eyes fixed on the Father.

I bless you with the wisdom and motivation to use your time wisely. To invest time to grow.

I bless you with a growing love and appreciation for the time you have together with your Father.

I bless you in the name Jesus of Nazareth, Amen.

Blessings from Proverbs 3

by Justin

I bless you with the awe of God

I bless you with the awe of God

Here is a short verse and blessing I wrote to encourage and reaffirm.

Proverbs 3:6

In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.

I bless you to be someone who acknowledges God in every moment of your day.

From the moment you wake up till the last thought before you go to sleep, I bless you to be inviting and recognising the presence of God.

I bless you to be someone who explores their relationship with him, finding the ways that you connect and share intimacy with the Almighty.

I bless you to find those moments with him and savor them.

I bless you to be someone who sacrifices their time to read the Bible, to read the words that God is speaking and to grow in your relationship; to grow in your knowledge and to grow in your awe of God.

I bless you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Blessing from Psalm 119

by Justin

be persistent in prayer

be persistent in prayer

Psalm 119:81-83

"I faint for your salvation; but i expect your help, for you have promised it. My eyes are straining to see your promises come true. When will you comfort me with your help? I am shriveled like a wine skin in the smoke, exhausted with waiting. But still i cling to your laws and obey them."

I want to encourage you to be expecting and persistent in prayer.

To know the promises that God has made and to expect God to come through.

To be patient and persistent, as our God is a God of perfect timing.

He is faithful and his words are true, but most of the time not in the ways and time that we think.

In Ecclesiastes it says "For there is a time and a way for everything", and Isaiah says "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength".

We need to not be discouraged and complacent in the time of waiting, for this is the time to be persistent and grow our strength and relationship; to grow in knowing our God. For if we don't know our God and how he works in our lives, how will we know when God is working?

I bless you to expect the promises that God has made. To grow a knowledge and understanding of the timing that God has in your life, and to be proactive in the time of waiting.

To continue to cling to the word and grow in knowledge of the Trinity and the different parts they will play, so that when the perfect time and way that God intervenes you will be prepared and won't miss what He is doing. I bless you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, Amen.

There is no better joy then to see you walking with our amazing God.

A Blessing from John 17

by Justin

you are loved deeply

you are loved deeply

"I have given them the glory you gave me, the glorious unity of being one, as we are. I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one-so that the world will know you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me. Father i want them with me, these you've given me, so that they can see my glory." John 17:22-24

This is part of Jesus's prayer to the Father, and it shows how deeply God loves each and every one of us. Find your belonging, worth and competence in the Trinity.

Through God the Father we can find our sense of belonging, as he has called us children and loves us just as he loves Jesus.

Our worth can be shown through Jesus, as he showed us our worth when he reconciled each one of us with the Father through his death and resurrection. We are worth so much to God as shown in Jesus's prayer, he desperately wants each of us to be with him.

And last but certainly not least we can find our competence in the Holy Spirit as we draw deep from Him.

Find your identity! And get to know our God as the Trinity. Three in one.

I bless you with gaining your sense of belonging, worth and competence through God almighty, the Trinity.

I bless you with a knowledge and relationship of each part of God. Knowing that you are loved deeply by the Father, knowing that you were bought at a price by the Son, and knowing that wherever you are, in any circumstance you have the Holy Spirit within you.

I bless you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, Amen.

p.s. read the whole of John 17. So good.

A Blessing from Proverbs

I bless you with a trust that will not waver

I bless you with a trust that will not waver

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

We can here this scripture so many times but still miss the truth in it.
In words this is so simple to understand, but in practice it is so hard. But that is why we need to practice these things, as perseverance is rewarding.

I bless you with a trust that will not waver. A trust that is secure in knowing the truth in the words of our Father. In knowing that we are not to trust in only what we understand, but instead knowing that we don't need to understand. For God understands all, and we are to trust in Him.

I bless you with submitting your life to God's will, and to the things that he has called you. To never rest your identity in anything else but Him, and who he says you are. And I bless you in knowing that if you are truly trusting, that He will never lead you astray. I bless you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, Amen.
