God stress tests our adrenals and kidneys. He holds them responsible for how they think. Specifically addressing the right or wrongness of their thinking.
Jeremiah 11:20 But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
God subjects us to challenging situations in order to reveal what is actually stored inside. Our brain knows how to give the right answers. Knows what other people want to hear. With finesse and cleverness we tweak our response.
Our emotions reveal much as well with a Freudian slip as they say when not expecting something. How we process the stuff of life’s the art form of the adrenals and kidneys. Every night our brain takes the days experiences and decides what to discard and what to keep.
What you had for breakfast last three months before is probably deemed trivia by your brain therefore purged and discarded rather than be saved. Most of us can remember where we were on earth shaking events like 911 as it is burned into memory.
It is the accumulative framing skills of our left kidney that rolls the tape of our day and frames Fred’s behaviour in a way that hurts us or through the frame of our covenant grid that was utterly bizarre and painful yet knowing it was Father- filtered and in some way God can work it for his redemptive purpose.
It matters to God how we frame the issues of life on an ongoing basis and our accumulative result of those framing is going to affect you. Will you default to fear or covenant? Will we believe this happened randomly, maliciously in a world spinning out of control or believing somewhere in here is the fingerprint’s of God?
God zeroes in on our adrenals, kidneys and our heart. These two thinking constructs stress tested by God and judged for how they think.
I bless you adrenals with properly accumulating knowledge of God. God has revealed himself to you in thousands of different ways over the years of your journey.
I bless you with not forgetting or wasting those lessons about God, those revelations of the covenant of God and an experiential data file of the goodness of God. When God brings a challenge to your mind, soul and emotions, may you be found wise because of your accumulative walk with God not foolish because you acted on fear instead of covenant love.
Having listened to this section on Stress Test, what are your thoughts and emotions that bubble up? How do you relate to what is being described?
At best this can sound a bit daunting however God knows what is the way forward, even for our adrenals and kidneys. What stories are you book marking to go back to as accumulative verifiable proof of God's goodness? Which are you deeming as time to heal and release? Would love to hear from you.
We would love to hear from you
